In addition to the rich history and traditional repertoire of the ukulele, its size and scale also happen to be an excellent tool to interpret renaissance guitar and early baroque music, as well as expand contemporary genres. Developed with the help of educator and performer Mustafa Kamaliddin, my tenor ukulele is designed to excel at fingerstyle playing, while retaining the familiar voice as typically strummed on the ukulele. You can find more information about Mustafa Kamaliddin and his work on fingerstyle ukulele here.

I employ the same resonance tuning method and material science principles as in my classical guitars, and as such I can create a responsive and dynamic instrument that plays evenly across its chromatic range. My ukuleles also include some of the design features found on my classical guitars, such as a compensated nut and saddle, sound port, and a sleeved 8-hole bridge.
